So the fixture list is out and our first game is on Tuesday 7th May where we are at home to the newly relegated The Mob. We’ve played them a few times in tournaments with mixed results so we’ll need to get some practice in if we want to start off positively! Hopefully we’ll have a practice on Sunday 21st April and possibly Sunday 28th April (the day after Shorty and Jackie tie the knot) with a friendly on May 1st (tbc).

It looks as if we’ve got three teams promoted for division 6 (Voodoos, Fuzzy Ducks and London Tigers) but they are unlikely to be walkovers, especially the Fuzzy Ducks who are on a recruitment overdrive and full of Blitz players! No Moanados this time but with The Voodoos in div 5 there should be some fireworks (Chris).
Hopefully we’ll have a shiny new squad and a shiny new kit for the first game. Here’s how the kit currently looks although we are trying to incorporate the Pimlico into Pirates on the back logo.
